Our Story
AngeRose was born out of a passion for truth and a desire for excellence. Our founder, Emily Rose, was just a university student when she first tried a popular hair dye shampoo. With her background in skincare and chemical science, Emily immediately noticed the harsh, artificial scent and suspected poor-quality ingredients. Driven by curiosity, she took the product to her university’s lab for testing – and what she discovered was shocking.
The so-called “natural” ingredients were nothing more than trace amounts (less than 0.1%) of plant extract blends, created by mixing and distilling waste plant materials purely for marketing purposes. Even more alarming, the coloring agent was industrial dye, not a safe, hair-specific coloring agent. Furious at the deceit and the industry’s misleading practices, Emily decided to take matters into her own hands.
Determined to create a product that was both effective and genuinely safe,
Emily founded AngeRose.
The name carries a dual meaning – inspired by both the fiery passion ("anger") to change the industry and the grace and elegance ("angel") that she envisioned for her products.
She formulated a true hair dye shampoo that not only delivers vibrant, long-lasting color but also nourishes and protects hair from the very first use. Understanding that hair dye inherently damages hair (as the process involves opening hair cuticles to deposit color), Emily went above and beyond by partnering with leading laboratories in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Together, they developed miraculous instant repair hair masks and hair serums that not only restore hair health but enhance it with every use.
